Jackie Streeter

Jackie Streeter was appointed as the Vice President of Engineering and Design Services in 1993 at Apple Computer, Inc. where she was responsible for providing cross-functional, cross-divisional engineering design, quality and product development. She worked successfully through the years to promote the non proprietary thinking that Apple Computer, Inc. needed to move into the future. Jackie joined Apple in 1984 as Senior Director of Configuration Management and Engineering Services. During her tenure as Senior Director, Streeter developed and implemented revolutionary practices which streamlined and automated engineering design practices and information systems.

Jackie was presented the prestigious Product Development and Management Association’s Corporate Innovation Award for her leadership in creating and implementing the Apple New Product Development Process.

Jackie served as a member of a number of boards that advance women leaders. Those boards included Leadership California, an organization that recognizes, inspires, informs and advances women leaders who have demonstrated leadership abilities and the potential to positively influence California’s future and WITI (Women In Technology International). She was featured in the San Jose Mercury News article, “The Female Touch” which profiled women whose innovative and outstanding management styles in a technical environment are creating positive change in many ways for women and aspiring leaders. She has written several articles on product development for professional journals including, “Roadmap for Success”. Jackie is a frequent speaker at major industry events including keynote speaker at the first Women in Technology Conference held in San Jose and Women Shaping Technology Conference in Arizona.

Prior to joining Apple, Jackie held a number of executive positions in marketing, manufacturing, and engineering at various companies. She is an avid golfer and mother of two great sons.
